The other day I mentioned I was involved in a photoshoot at Hebden town hall for some of the hair pieces we've made at the shop and I wanted to share with you all a few of the resulting images.
All taken by Shelly who is a fantastic photographer!

Behind the Scenes: Town Hall Shoot

While working with Chrissie at Hat Therapy, I had the opportunity to help out with a photoshoot for EWE with Zeitgeist hair, Shelley from Toast of Leeds photography as well as Rachel Lucie, jewellery and Tweeds from Liberty Freedom.
It was a great experience! Very different from the interiors photoshoot I helped with on my last work placement.
Heres some of my behind the scenes snaps...

Hair pieces all boxed up and ready to go!
Heres Chrissie doing some last minute adjustments to a tweedy comb.

Hair and makeup for the models.

Vintage Wedding Fair

A couple of weekends ago, I had the honour of accompanying Chrissie (Hat Therapy) to a vintage wedding fair at East Riddlesden Hall in Keighley.

The building itself was gorgeous and the were some many amazing sellings there, my personal favourite was the wedding pies... yes pie! from Pie&

The hall, complete with wedding camper van
I took a minute to explore while unpacking stock
Our space, just getting set up
Some of the gorgeousness on offer...

Hat Therapy

I've had a great experience working at the hat shop, below are just three of my creations, created with Chrissie's help of course!
The first is a gorgeous wedding head piece which took an unbelievable amount of time to make... the second a gorgeous red straw beret with handmade silk flower, possibly my favourite creation so far!
Lastly, one of the many felt hats that I love making, they're all blocked on a standard block and then moulded into unique, organic shapes. They fly off the shelves usually the same day we put them out, which is very satisfying to see.

Happy Easter, hope you've all had a good long weekend :)
